Welcome to CEREBOTO, the open-source hardware innovation platform that connects developers, projects, and products worldwide. Please read our shipping policy to understand how we handle order processing, delivery, and international shipments.
1. Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed within 3–5 business days after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and public holidays).
- For items shipped by project developers or partners (“Developer Direct”), processing times may vary by location and production schedule.
- If an item is out of stock or undergoing technical revision, we will notify you via email or the message center with an updated timeline.
2. Shipping Methods
We partner with reliable carriers to deliver your orders safely and on time.
- Domestic (China): SF Express, YTO, ZTO, or other local couriers.
- International: DHL, FedEx, UPS, or China Post Registered Air Mail.
- Some “Developer Direct” items ship from the creator’s warehouse.
A tracking number will be provided once your order is dispatched.
3. Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Destination country/region;
- Package weight and dimensions;
- Product type (e.g., items containing batteries or restricted materials).
For certain developer-supplied products, shipping fees may be set by the project owner.
4. International Shipping & Customs
- Customs duties, import taxes, and related charges are not included in product prices or shipping fees.
- These costs are the buyer’s responsibility and are determined by your local customs authority.
- Please verify your country’s import regulations before placing an order.
CEREBOTO cannot control or predict customs delays, but we will provide necessary documentation upon request.
5. Shipping Risk & Delivery
- Risk transfers to the customer once the package is handed over to the courier.
- Please inspect your parcel upon arrival. If the packaging appears damaged, do not sign and contact us immediately.
- If an incorrect address or failed delivery results in a return, the buyer is responsible for re-shipping fees.
6. Special Notes
- Custom or crowdfunding-based hardware projects may have variable production and shipping times.
- Multiple items in one order may ship in separate parcels.
- Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, public health incidents, or policy changes) may cause delays.
